EO Management Team includes:

Peter J. Szambelan, Chairman

Pete joined Employers Overload in 1969 as Branch Manager in Portland, Oregon. He became a Western Region Manager and then a franchise owner of EO for Oregon and Washington in 1974. In 1988 Pete became CFO of Employers Overload. Pete graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Portland. Pete is a true "people person" and his philosophy of "helping people succeed" and treating people well is the foundation of our company culture and values.

Thomas P. Szambelan, CEO

Tom joined Employers Overload in 1990 in the Beaverton Branch office with the Technical Division, became the Director of Operations in 1995, and President in 2000. Tom Szambelan graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Tom has helped create a friendly and professional organization through adherence to EO's mission and core values, while investing in the development of Employers Overload's teams, service offerings, systems and technology.

John Vanderkin, President

John joined Employers Overload in 2009 to lead strategic projects and key account relationships. His career includes holding a general manager role for a global information management company and Business Manager/Director of Operations Role for a $100 million region of Enovation Graphic Systems; a division of Fuji Film. His experience includes more than 20 years in business and operations management, new business development, team building and people leadership.

Judy M. Nuxall, Risk Manager

Judy joined Employers Overload in 1984 as a Staffing Professional at our downtown Portland, Oregon branch. Since 1988 Judy has been Employers Overload's leader in risk management, including workers' compensation, unemployment, human resources, and collections. Her career prior to Employers Overload includes work within Human Resources at a national income tax and accounting services organization and as a paraprofessional in the tax accounting department within an international accounting firm.
